Aralyn's pendant
The first piece
It was her mother's — a woman Aralyn never truly knew the truth of, gone before this story begins. The pendant passes to her on the night the ancient wood beside her village wakes, and with it, everything Aralyn believed about her quiet life in Evershade begins to unravel.
